The power of God is demonstrated by His ability to accomplish His will in every situation, both real and potential, through any means He chooses in order to glorify Himself. God's power is centered on His will and His glory. We just need to know where to look for His transformative power. This denotes that God our Father is a glorified, perfected, and exalted being who has all might, all power, and all dominion, who knows all things and is infinite in all His attributes, and who lives in eternity. It is that our Eternal Father enjoys this high status of glory and perfection and power because He is limitless, uncreated, the beginning and the end.
God’s power is the source of all creation, sustaining everything in existence. God’s power is manifested through divine intervention, miracles, and guidance to bring healing, comfort, hope, peace, and joy into our lives. God’s power can be seen throughout the Bible, and in the lives of those who follow Him. God’s power is seen through His miraculous works, such as walking on water, healing the sick, and restoring sight to the blind. Through Jesus’ death on the cross, He paid for our sins and showed us a way back to Him, thus having power over life and death and redemption.
The Bible tells us that God is all-powerful (omnipotent), meaning He can do any and everything. The Bible says in Psalms 62:11 “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.” This means that God has the power to accomplish anything that He desires and no one or nothing can stop Him. There is nothing in the universe more powerful than God. Nothing in the universe can limit God’s power. He is in total control of all things and His power cannot be denied or questioned. Satan is not more powerful than God. He, like us, is a created being. Nothing in creation, or elsewhere whatsoever, is more powerful than God.
The Bible points to God’s power in countless ways. For example, Isaiah 40:28 says, “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.” This scripture is a reminder that even though God’s power is incomprehensible, He has the power to create and sustain all of creation.
Psalm 33:6 says, “By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.” This demonstrates God’s power to create something as majestic and powerful as the universe. II Peter 1:3 “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: “
I Chronicles 29:11 “Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.”
